I'm Karley Slaughter

After graduating cosmetology school in 2016, I became an assistant stylist, grew into a commission stylist and then later chose to go suite rental in 2019. That was when life smacked me in the face and I realized only 10% of stylist actually make six figures like shown on social media, glamorizing the industry. I've learned many lessons and had lots of tears but with hard work and smart financial decisions my dreams have become reality. I now own my own salon, and hair extension line while having the opportunity of helping others grow behind the chair.

Now I use my own personal struggle and success to help people just like you find where your passion and career align. I’ll show you the blueprint to what actually works behind the chair so you don't make the same mistakes I had to learn.

Why I Do It

It's simple: help people grow. As a hairstylist, salon owner, extension specialist, and proud mom of three, I’m passionate about creating confidence—both for my clients and the stylists I mentor. I believe beautiful hair can be life-changing, but I also know that building a successful career behind the chair takes more than talent alone.

Through my love for extensions, education, and team development, I’m dedicated to helping stylists grow their skills, increase their income, and build careers they’re proud of. Having experienced both the struggles and successes of this industry, my mission is to share what I’ve learned, support others on their journey, and create opportunities for stylists to thrive while doing what they love.
